You've Silenced Me - Which Is Hard To Do!

Well, I'm sitting here not knowing what to say which is very rare (yes, those of you who know me well will be agreeing I'm sure LOL). Thank you all for doing that. You are all amazing to take a few moments out for me.

The photos in my last post were taken because I was wanted a little bit of colour in an otherwise dull photo to enter into a competition on UKS. After taking the ones of the yellow flowers, orange chinese outdoor light and lit tea light, I decided to brave the cold rainy elements and stay outside a little longer. I was snapping at all sorts, even the bricks on the house and put a couple of the results on here. Hence the tv aerial and stones. A lot of us have crafting and some everyday life on our blogs and I just fancied having something different on my blog for you and I to see.

I have been amazed at the response to these. Most of you have said you like the stone picture. Well; as it happens, so do I. I actually felt a bit of a daft so-and-so standing out in the rain with no coat on (it wasn't raining when I went out there) taking wild and wacky photos. Now, I'm glad I did. I have quite a basic digital camera with no additional lenses and all I do is choose normal or close-up mode, flash or no flash and how far to zoom in (I can go up to 3x optical zoom). Other than that, it's just point, shoot and hope for the best.

Will I ever get a flashier camera with goodness only knows what on it and a million available lenses? Yes, maybe one day I will, but for now I'm quite happy with what I have and you all seem to like the results. As the saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it" or in my case "If it works and the photos are liked as much as we all seem to, why save money for a new one when I could be saving for Ally Pally in September?"
Love to all who read this xxx

You've taken some pretty fantastic photo's with the camera you've got and until you outgrow the camera and it isn't giving you the results that you want, then I'd just get out and have fun taking photos....
Will drop by again soon so keep snapping!!
