Not much to report

I haven't forgotten about my blog, it's just that I don't have a lot to report and I haven't any crafting to show you. I did have my cousin and her youngest DS over Wednesday and we went into town to have brunch and do some shopping.

We went into the new pound shop and they had a card embellie stand. Some of the items jumped into my basket while I was there as they do. I managed to get some lovely wire embellies and some small fabric dolls as well as a pack of 3 fancy edged rulers. Have any of you ever used fancy edged rulers for tearing your papers? If so, any tips please? We tried them out when we got home and I managed to tear a straight line and a slightly wavy one ok, but considering there's 6 different edges, I didn't do very well. It's difficult to get the paper to tear cleanly, in the nooks IYSWIM?

I'll be quiet Thursday too as I'm going to have the day with my youngest sister and stopping overnight. We're making the most of her being home for a few days and having a girly time.

See you all here soon. Until then, take care xxx

I usually draw around and then cut my fancy edges rather than tear them Sarah. I have a lot of fiskars edges and I'd never manage to tear them :)
