Scrap Like You Mean It Week 19

On UKScrappers Shimelle challenged us to scraplift one of the many LOs already done in the previous 18 weeks of her Scrap Like You Mean It challenges. I had to flip the page I'd chosen as I cut the green PP the wrong way!!

The original

My LO

Another one done for Jo's wedding album. I designed the title, cut it out four times on my ROBO and layered them. The swirl was done on a friend's Big Shot and inked in brown. I haven't worried about journalling as such, I've just listed who's who in the photo.

Scrap Like You Mean It Week 18

I still can't believe I'm managing to keep up with the Scrap Like You Mean It challenges. The latest one is #18 and is to "scrap the outdoors". Not a hard one for me as I have tons of outdoor photos. I decided to go with one taken last September at Ally Pally. You'll probably recognise it as it's my current blog header.

Living On The Edge with Shimelle

On UKScrappers, Shimelle challenged us last time to 'live on the edge' by using the edge of our LO in some way. Either by cutting it fancy, putting something right at the edge, overhanging something or ......... The choice was ours.

So, I decided to cut the edge of my green card, put ribbon at the edge on 2 sides and use blooms on one corner.

It's a fairly simple LO, but hopefully one that draws your eye to the yellow rose in the centre. Apologies for the flash, but the photo was taken at night.

Cut Up A Photo - aargh ..........

Shimelle challenged us to cut up a photo for her weekly Scrap Like You Mean It challenge on UKScrappers this week. After thinking about it for a few minutes and searching through the photos for a suitable one, I decided to cut up my eldest nephew. He's been cut up before, so he's ok with it by now LOL I tore and inked some PP and die-cut the letters on my Xyron Personal Cutting System. All I had to do then was assemble it all, add a teeny button in the shape of sunglasses and do some doodling. Simple, but I like it.
