Look Deep

The weekly team challenge on UKScrappers was set by The Sizzling Hot Scrappers and they challenged us to:

Use the colour emerald
Use some bling
Get some movement into our LO
Use journalling in the form of a poem (whole or a line)

I've used an (emerald) green glitter gel pen in my ROBO to print my poem and a green brad
Glitter is in the ink for the bling
I've threaded beads and hung them from a brad for the movement
I've used an extract from the poem 'Me and Laughter, Together Always' by Nyoka Mitchell

So, full points for my team once again

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some people have said I'm brave to do LOs  of myself. I'm not brave, I'm preserving my memories. Who else is going to be able to really say much about me? And isn't that what scrapbooking is all about? Preserving memories ~ ALL memories? So, if you're a scrapbooker, dig out those photos of you and get sticking.
Thanks for looking
Take care, love and hugs
Scrummy
UKS weekly challenge is to scrap something scrummy, use some pink & black, a poem, hidden journalling and fabric.
Here's my LO and it's the first time I've not used a photo on a LO.
As you've most probably guessed I've used the topic of my scrummy stash. LO is mainly pink & black, poem written by me, journalling behind the poem, ribbons (velvet, satin & organza), ric-rac & fibres. I've also added my new stamp, chipboard, button, stamp, Stickles, patterned paper/card, photo turn, brads, blooms, metal embellishments (heart with 'handmade with love' on and a tiny pair of scissors). I added some colour to the stamped image by watercolouring with my brush markers and added a light covering of stardust stickles.
Poem reads:
Ribbons & blooms, paper & card - I used to think crafting would be hard - To make something pretty out of stash - It took me a year, but I gave it a bash
With my inks & stamps & glitter glue - Chipboard & buttons & fibres too - Scissors are poised, DST is at hand - I'm, certainly hooked & life is grand
Thanks for looking. Love and hugs
