Coffee and Cream

It's been coffee time over at My Time To Craft. They've had a competition running this week which ends at 10pm tonight (Monday 10th November). We had to do some sort of crafting (from quite a wide range they selected) with the theme 'Coffee and Cream'. I chose to do a card and here it is

I coloured in the eyes and mouth using brush markers and added some diamond stickles for sparkle. Cream organza and brown satin ribbon with a cream button completed the card.

Thanks for looking

Take care
Love and hugs

Coffee and Lunch Dates

What a day I've had today! And I loved every minute of it.

First I got to meet Mandi from UKS. Her and DH have bought a house a stone's throw from town and she invited me round for coffee. It is known affectionately as 'The Tardis' and now I know why. It's huge! You walk in thinking it's going to be a decent size, but it goes back and up, further than you could ever imagine. Mandi is such a lovely lady and I felt so at home. Looking forward to seeing you again very soon.

After coffee, I met my friend and her DS for lunch. I felt really bad as it was actually his birthday Tuesday not today - oops!!! We went to a restaurant in town and had a gorgeous 2 course meal. I had home made vegetable pie followed by treacle tart. Yummy.

Tomorrow, I'm going to have the day with my cousin. Apparently were starting with brunch out. Who am I to complain, but I ought to be good about what I have or the scales will scream at me next time. I have phases where I'm eating out/yummy food and then I'm at home with the celery for a few days.

Hope you are all as well as you can be. Catch you soon somewhere. Love to all.

A quiet week

Hi everyone,

Just letting you all know I'm still about. Not much has been happening this week. I was fighting bad heads at the beginning of the week and they've eventually left me alone.

I've been to a friend's for coffee this afternoon. It was so good to see her. Her mum was really ill for a couple of months and thankfully is on the mend now.

I've also been scrapping this week. I've managed a couple of LO's of my niece and oldest nephew. I still have so many photos to scrap, that I'm determined to keep this up. I have ordered Elsie Flannigan's 52 week scrapbooking challenge book to hopefully keep me in inspiration along with the sketch lines I find on the internet. Watch this space as they say.

Love to all who are kind enough to take the time to read my blog
