Engagement Card

We've recently had an engagement in the family, so I decided to make a different style of card for the young couple.

I've used the Mikey and Madison image from the Mikey download collection available exclusively from Charmed. The flowers were also from Charmed ~ flowers in a tin (small ones) and Prima Can-Nection.

Spotty Dottie

Karen set the Sunday challenge on Dottie's World titled 'Spotty Dottie' and said:

No I am not asking for a pubescent Dotty in need of a tube of Clearasil, but I would like to see some spots. Yep, today I am setting the challenge here on Dottie's World, and this is what I would like you to do:

SPOTTY DOTTIE

I want to see SPOTS. It doesn't have to be Dottie, you can of course use any of the downloads. BUT I don't just want to see a circle or two.

So, what did I do? This:

In a Word document, I took Dottie and George from the Love and Marriage collection and the stage from the Christmas Collection and overlapped them before printing it as a whole picture onto safmat. I mounted this onto white cardstock, inked the edges and matted it onto some PP. I made the wording using Word Art and printed on SafMat, mounted on white cardstock and inked the edges. I covered a piece of white card in dotty paper, added 2 dotty brads and some ribbon. The main image and words are mounted using foam pads.

So, the dotty elements are: dotty background, dotty brads and George going dotty over Dottie.
