Magnetised

My sister Andrea has her birthday on Sunday and I had no idea what to get her until I went into a pound shop in Wisbech and found a pack of coloured magnetic pegs. I decided that I would decorate one for her and mount it on a chipboard surround, so she could still put it on her fridge. As a final touch, I've used the peg to hold some money so she can treat herself.

To make this I used:
Red magnetic memo peg - made by Home etc. of Birmingham
Chipboard
Spotted paper - K & Co Hopscotch 6x6 paper pad
Red pearlised paper (covering the back) - The Paper Cellar
Green spotted ribbon - free with Scrapbook Inspirations magazine
Blooms - Imaginisce, For Peep's Sake Butterfly Blooms (
Charmed)
Brads - earthtone by Dovecraft (Charmed)
VersaColor ink pad (used to ink the edges of the chipboard) - No. 14 Scarlet

Sneeky Peek - Unveiled

Remember that sneeky peek the other day? Well, it was a birthday card and I had to wait until the recipient had her birthday. She has now so here's it in all it's glory.

I used K & Co Hopscotch Paper pad, red pearlised card for the base and top matting, orange and blue brads, mini-beads for the 21 threaded onto wire that I shaped. To get this effect, I drew a 21 onto a piece of card and bent the wire round on top so I could thread random beads onto it before using more wire to secure it to the card. The envelope was made using a download from shabbyprincess.com lined with K & Co Hopscotch
