Thank you to Debz and Tee
Debz gave me this one which I am to share with 10 of my lovely pals who are:
Tee, Ruth, Maddy, Lou, Karen, Juliet, Emma, Donna, Calvin and Adele

Here's my award from Tee and this is what she says:

The award comes with the following sentiment:-This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind blogger's aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight blogger's who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award. I would like to pass this to:
Well, for a start, how do I choose eight of the ten I chose before? Tee gave this to me, so that leaves nine and I refuse to leave one of them out, so I'm cheating I'm afraid and giving it to:
Ruth, Maddy, Lou, Karen, Juliet, Emma, Donna, Calvin and Adele
Thank You once again Debz and Tee. I'm highly honoured.
Take care all of you

Craft A Butterfly
In an effort to remember them, Holocaust Museum Houston is collecting 1.5 million handmade butterflies. The butterflies will eventually comprise a breath-taking exhibition, currently scheduled for Spring 2012, for all to remember.
As of Summer 2008, we have already collected an estimated 400,000 butterflies.
I'll be leaving links on the top right of my blog, so that you can all visit the official website. Also, Dan from UKScrappers has information on his blog and (should you need or want them) butterfly templates too. The links are also there.
This is your chance to craft and make a difference.
Thanks for looking
Take care

You Are 4
I used a CD as a template and once cut, I covered the front and back in Dream Street hugs and kisses love lines card. I took some green textured paper and free-hand cut some grass. I used Stazon to stamp the flowers, butterfly, dragonfly and bumble bee and wording. I then coloured the images with permanent pens.
I lined the inside with yellow textured paper and made a pocket out of same paper which I attached to the reverse of the front of the card and put some money in it for him. I just hope he likes it now.

My Loves
Embellish a floral accent "No matter what your page topic, I bet you can find a place for a flower accent in your design. But take it up a notch. Embellish the center of your flower with a mini clock, a tiny thread-tied button or patterned paper. And don't be afraid to turn a large flower shape into a photo frame" Elsie Flannigan.
I have cut a purple flower on my Xyron and inked the edges using a dark grey brush marker. I added a purple flower ribbon brad which I knotted some purple organza ribbon through. I 3D'd some silver peel-off butterflies and stuck these on to it too.
To finish the LO, I used:
Purple Bazzill
DCWV Textured Paper - Gigantic Paisley from Charmed Cards and Crafts
Yellow Roses
Purple Organza Ribbon
Purple Paper from The Paper Cellar
Purple Brush Marker
Diamond Stickles
It's unusual for me to do something so personal and only the second LO I've done of me on my own. Here's the other one I did. I stamped the background and simply added torn paper, green card, a brad and a gem. The 'special day' was kindly given to me at a crop.
