Creative Scrappers #60 and UKScrappers July 09 week 3

I've used Creative Scrappers sketch #60 to help my do the current UKScrappers team weekly challenge.

Set by the Blooming Pages, they challenged us to use:

A love theme ~ you've gotta love yourself

Pearls ~ 2 pearl brads

Something re-cycled ~ rope came from some storage thingy ages ago and I've added blue ink to the top of it.

Journalling reads "before others see the real you and can truly love you too. I'm working on it."

Creative Scrappers #53

Creative Scrappers gave us a brilliant sketch last Sunday and I finally got to work with it this Saturday. I chose to scrap a photo of my friend when we went to a local carnival last August. I used a bottle of stamp cleaner to draw round for the scallops before cutting them out. The journalling frame was kindly given to us (as a ROBO file) on UKScrappers by Lindyloulou.
